Our 40th reunion was held October 7, 2006, and it was a huge success! There were 91 classmates and a total of 141 attending. The evening began with a cocktail hour during guest arrivals. It was fun to see everyone walk in and check name tags with faces! Prior to dinner, a prayer of thanksgiving was made by our very own newly ordained deacon, Dick Siebert.

Dancing and mingling followed through to the evenings end. Sad but true, the night did have to end. Like a wedding, all the planning takes forever and the party flies by. Maybe with the internet , some can stay in touch with new found or old friends! Joe Bergeron has agreed to continue managing the web site and the raffle money provided enough money to fund the site for several more years. If anyone has photographs for the web site, they can be emailed to Joe at joe.bergeron@yahoo.com. The message board will stay open and available for all your messages. It is up to all of us to keep that part of the site going; check in often and add your thoughts. The subject doesn't have to be class/class reunion info. You can add family info (marriages, births), book/movie suggestions etc. The committee has received many thanks and the we in turn would like to thank all of you for sharing the evening with your classmates. Some traveled from Canada, California, Nevada, Florida, Arizona, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, New Jersey, New York, New England and some 1/2 mile! May we all be blessed with good health... until we meet again. Sincerely, CHS 1966 Reunion Committee |
